Brian received his training from Professor David Adiv (Gracie Jiu Jitsu, New Jersey) who spearheaded the Royler Gracie-David Adiv Jiu Jitsu Team in the US. Brian’s desire to learn self-defense as a young man, turned into a passion for the competitive aspect of Jiu Jitsu, where he achieved an impressive competition resume.
As his skills developed, Brian was elevated to Head coach of the Royler Gracie-David Adiv Jiu Jitsu Competition Team. At the completion of his role as Head Coach, Professor David Adiv and Royler Gracie encouraged Brian to start his own school, Gracie-Sarasota.
Brian brings to Sarasota a wide range of teaching skills that are grounded in the traditional Gracie Humaita Academy self-defense curriculum. He also provides training in Competitive Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Law Enforcement Self-Defense, Women’s Self-Defense, and Kids Jiu Jitsu.
